Hi everyone! I applied for the new grad program at CHOC for the NICU. Good luck to all of the applicants.

Thanks, interviewing with OR! Login to the CHOC portal and on the candidate home page a new heading appeared "My Scheduled Events" and it shows date, time, and interviewers. Says it's a video interview. Good luck all!

Hi there! Applied to PICU!! A friend of mine is currently there as a graduate nurse in the PICU and was told that 4 of them were applying to residency and 1 to fellowship! They were suppose to have interview this week and then do external interviews next week! Best of luck to everyone!

Congrats! Are these internal interviews right now? I thought it basically said if you don’t hear from them by tomorrow (June 3rd) they’ve selected other applicants.

Dang, I applied for the PICU and my portal says it is still under consideration. I guess that means I didn't get chosen. Congrats to those who have!

Thank you! and nope! Mostly all behavioral-based questions, your experience, and what you would do in certain situations (difficult patient, what do you do if you don't know a certain skill), strengths, weaknesses, why choc,... etc. I applied for the fellowship ? Good luck to everyone!

Have stories ready to tell for situations like from clinical or work! They were very welcoming and nice. Made the interview less intimidating and more comfortable. Good luck!

Don't lose hope yet. It sounded like internals are being interviewed this week, and external applicants are being offered appointments for next week at this time. Tomorrow is still possible for you! If you know anyone there, this is a great time to reach out and remind them you are interested in the position.
