CHOA Nurse Residency May 2021

I saw the CHOA Nurse Residency application was posted today so I wanted to start a thread. Good luck everyone!

So sorry. Me again. I did my hirevue interview this weekend and I noticed that the date on my "Jobs Applied" tab had changed from when I originally applied to the date that I did the interview. Did this happen to anyone else or is this just me? I am still "under review" as well.

For those of you who have already received an offer, when did you apply and when did you receive an email to interview?  I applied December 23rd and completed my HireVue interview in early January, but now I haven't heard anything.  I'm trying not to lose hope, as I'm really interested in working at CHOA, but I am feeling a little discouraged.

I completely understand how you’re feeling because we’re  in the same situation. I know it’s hard but all we can do at this point is be patient and if it’s meant to be it will happen.

I applied and did the HireVue at exactly the same time as you! I'm from out of state. It still says under review for me on the website.

I'm from out of state too, and it still says under review for me on the website as well. I'm glad we're in the same boat!

Those of us waiting in CHOA have you heard anything back?

Hey yall! I won't be graduating until July. I know CHOA only offers two cohorts: one for May graduates and one for December graduates. Does anyone know when the December graduates will start their residency?

same. I check my career portal frequently, only thing I have seen different is the date under the application update from February to march.

Hi Guys, 

I interviewed at CHOA today and got the offer a few hours later. I’m sharing this to keep the motivation going. Some departments may still have openings. It’s never too late to apply and better late than never! Those that haven’t heard back, follow up on your application. Congrats to all those that accepted positions for the Summer 2021 incoming class!
