CHM 130 Summer 2

I am thinking of taking CHM130 online at RIO summer 2. I'll be starting the Gateway LPN program this fall and I would like to have all my pre and co-reqs completed. If I do this it will enable me to take the ASU RN-BSN pre-reqs next summer. Can anyone let me know how CHM 130 was at RIO?

Hey,

I took Chem through Rio. It was actually not that bad. I really hated Chem in high school and was not looking forward to taking this class. However, I actually enjoyed it and learned a lot. I had an AWESOME instructor, which makes ALL the difference at Rio. The good thing about Chem was that assignments weren't due until Monday, which gave you the entire weekend. Some of the labs are very time consuming, but I had fun doing them. I took it the same time as psych. Just memorize the formulas, as 98% of the mid-term and final are formula questions. The "essay questions", yes essay questions in a chem class, were pretty simple and strait forward.

I was very wary of taking chem online, but I found it to be a very good experience. Again, memorization is the key to success in the class.
