CHLA Versant RN Residency September 2021 Cohort

Hi everyone! Anyone have any status updates for application, my application says "submitted". I put med-surg, PICU and NICU as my top choices. 

from what I was told during an interview on Thursday, we will be told this upcoming week. it will be coming from HR but im not sure if it will be an email or phone call. But I think its rolling, so we can hear back from different units at different times, but it should all be next week? thats what I was told but im not 100%. I know they upped the amount of residents they are taking and its now going to be a cohort of 60 people I think!

I also had a phone interview w/ the hiring manager from float pool and haven’t heard anything back. She mentioned if she decided to move on with the hiring process, individuals would receive another web ex interview (w/ nurses from the float pool). I had an interview for a  medical-surgical floor with the managers and nurses so I’m also confused/ maybe not being considered for float? IDK LOL I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

OMG I’m literally in the same exact boat! She made it sound like the 3rd interview was for certain and then nothing. Did you interview on the phone the week of 7/14?

Yeah I believe it was on that Thursday! Or maybe it was that Wednesday? I can’t remember but it was def that week! I was definitely caught off guard since it was a phone interview. HR had mentioned they were reviewing my application when they sent me an invitation for another floor but I really didn’t expect it to be a phone interview LOL

Yes she literally called at 8:45 at night on that Wednesday for me! Do you remember her name by chance of the lady who called us?

that is amazing, congratulations!! I just got one from 5 East, still waiting to hear about NICCU. were both units in one email or did you get separate emails for the units?

I got separate emails! I only got a call from 6 West though
