CHLA New Grad RN November 2022

Hi! Does anyone have any insight on when the application period is for CHLA's New RN November 2022 Cohort? All I see on their page is "The November cohort will begin on Nov. 14, 2022". Guessing I'll just have to check back frequently.

I think once the application closes you can't check on the status and just have to wait for an email or something.

I'm not able to see my application status either, if I try to log in I get like an error notification or of I try to use the old link it tells me that it's expired? I applied as an external applicant

Interview emails are starting to come out. First rounds will take place August 16-22, second rounds will take place August 29-September 8. Offers will start being handed out September 12. Best of luck to all!

Hi! thank you for the update! I know someone out of the area who is trying to apply for the next cohort - can I ask what the format of the interview(s) are? are they virtual or in person? and are you assigned a date/time or can you choose?

For the first interview it’s a 15 min virtual interview I believe with a recruiter. I was given a link to schedule my interview with various days and times available. I’m not sure what moving forward to the next interview what the format is.

Hi! Our first interview is virtual through Webex. During their info-session they said they are trying to have second round of interviews in person but it was not for sure yet!

Oh I didn't know they had an info session! Do you know if it was recorded or available online? That's exciting but also nerve-wrecking to fly to LA for an interview

Does anyone know how to tell which unit the initial interview will be for? I applied for multiple units and the email I received did not specify which one I am being considered for.

The initial interview is more of a general screening with the hiring team and then the second interview will be with the unit and more specific.
