Children's Hospital

Hey everyone,

So I have an interview for Children's Hospital on their NICU floor. This is a dream job for me and I'm really really nervous about it. Do any of you work at Children's? Also are they accepting students from DSN (since DSN now has their NLNAC)? I'm also currently getting my MSN from Regis in Leadership, so I'm thinking that may help out? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

I did work at Children's up until a few months ago. And while I didn't work *in* the NICU, my job was such that I worked very closely with the NICU. My perception from working with the NICU nurses at both Children's as well as nurses who work at other area NICUs is that Children's NICU is a very nurse-friendly place to work. Plus, with the addition of the MFM wing, they're really doing some amazing things there right now. It's really incredible, cutting edge stuff that you will see at very few NICUs in the country. Can't answer your question about DSoN, sorry.

Klone,

Thanks. I can't wait to have my interview. I'm really excited about it.

Hey Lizzie!

I know this is an old post, but how did the interview go? What kinds of questions did they ask you? Are you working in the NICU or a mother baby/unit now?
