Children's Health Nurse Residency Oct 2025

Hi friends!

I know it's early and applications don't open until the end of the month but I wanted to start a discussion for anyone applying to the October 2025 cohort for Children's Health. This is my DREAM job so I'm super nervous but we got this!

Do you have a link for that info ? I've looked everywhere and the latest updated dates are from 2024

Thank you for responding! Do you know what units are participating ? I have a friend in ED who said management wasn't planning on hiring any new grads for fall

I haven't heard anything. Do you know what units you're interested in?

I would have loved to apply to ED but I'm honestly interested in any unit.

Hi does anyone know what materials they would be asking for? I am not seeing much on their website. Thank you so much!

I applied back in January for Spring residency and only got to the video screening portion subsequently. There is a template to fill out it's very basic, you can just copy and paste your resume into it. But the application itself when open wants a recommendation letter, resume, and 3 references. I had my pediatric instructor write mine. It's very basic as far as nurse residency applications go.

For the resume template, did you keep yours to one page?

I did. I went to a job fair and one of the recruiters said it looked great.
