Whatever happens, don't give up on your dream of becoming a pedi nurse. Apply to other residency programs, like Cook Children's or even Medical City Children's. Best of luck.

I received the screening form April 26th and just got an email yesterday to interview.

Does anyone know what sort of things they screen for with the initial application? I'm planning on applying in January of next year and am curious on how to look competitive for this program. I want to do NICU but its very hard to get any experience in that unit other than clinicals and I'm not sure how else to stand out.
