Thought I'd create a thread for people applying to the October 2021 residency - which opens up tomorrow! Super nervous. What are everyone's preferred units? I'm really hoping Hem/Onc is hiring residents this time around.

I don’t think they are hiring for the February 2022 cohort yet. Correct me if I’m wrong but when I applied it said October 2021.

Hello, had the recruiter meeting today !

I Just had my meeting with the recruiter as well, it was pretty informal. He stated that he had a total of 100 and something people to talk to. He will then forward our information to the hiring managers. He said by some time by the end of next week or so he will know if we will have an interview.

General Peds, Clinical Resource Team, since the ambulatory float pool was not available, PACU. How about you?

Awesome!

I applied for NICU, PICU, and Critical care ! He also mentioned if I was interest in cardio, pulmonary, and med/surg. I said I would be interested in pulmonary and med/surg!

My heart is on NICU!

Had recruiter contact me on Tuesday. He said it would be about a week to hear back from hiring managers then august 16,17,18 would be interview dates via zoom. Official start date if selected is October 25.
