Hey guys! I wanted to start a thread so we could all keep up with the application process and see how it’s going :)

That’s exciting! I am setting up my in person interview and shadow as well, hopefully for next week or the week after. Just waiting to hear back on what day and time specifically ? what unit and hospital are you interviewing for?

Wow that's amazing! How did your interview go? What was it like? How did you prepare for it?

I thought it went well. Everyone was really nice! Has anyone heard anything more about offers or anything??

Update: I GOT AN OFFER! So excited to start in October. Good luck to everyone in this process!!!

Congratulations!!! That is so exciting. I have an interview set up for July 8 at the Egleston campus and I am so excited! Do you have any advice regarding the interview or shadow experience? Also how long did it take for you to hear back with the offer after your interview?

Thank you! I’m so excited ? And congratulations to you as well! So exciting! In terms of advice, I would practice some behavioral questions (the tell me about a time ones) just to boost your confidence. Everyone was really nice and supportive the entire time, especially during the shadowing. Just be helpful where you can and ask questions! It took almost 3 weeks to hear, so I was definitely nervously pacing for a bit ha. Good luck!

I just received a digital interview I thought all of the positions would have been filled by now . Do you all have any insight of units that may be left ?

Hello :)
Congratulations of getting an interview!

I also practiced behavioral questions using what I learned and experienced in my preceptorship to answer the questions. I practiced interview questions with my partner two days before my interview. The day before my interview I did self care and rested. The morning of I had breakfast and had my partner drop me off at my interview site so I would not be late. I had two interviews one for med surg and one for ED. The interviews were 1-2 hours and the shadowing was about 2-3 hours for the med surge and 4 hours for the ED. I had a small snack in my bag that I ate before I shadowed nurses on the unit. I got an offer the next morning :)

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Congrats on getting a digital interview!

I am unsure of what positions are still available. I'm sorry.

That is so exciting!! Congratulations on the offer! Are you working in the ED or the MedSurge Unit? I will be interviewing and shadowing this Friday for the ED. I had to reschedule my interview, so I'm doing it a bit later than expected. I will definitely practice some behavioral questions... was there a certain website with questions that you found helpful? I am so excited!
