Chico State University Reviews

Published

Hi everyone.

I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.

I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.

If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.

I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.

I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.

Thank you! :)

Specializes in ICU, trauma.

Whoops sorry I'm kinda late, I've been super busy studying for finals and whatnot :scrying: But yes I got an email before I receive anything in the mail :)

Has anyone heard anything yet? I've been getting emails every hour today and I'm on the edge of my seat. So close yet so far away!!!

Nothing. I'm getting so anxious.

I just want to call them and rush them. But I know that will do no good. haha.

@wildcatkatie, for the first semester is it very crazy? I have some classes I still need to take for GEs including upper division, and I wanted to do it all my first semester in chico. Do you think it would be too much to do like 2 other classes in addition to the nursing classes required the first semester in the program?

So, do you guys think that because the 15th is on Sunday they might be waiting until Monday to send out acceptances?

Yeah, probably tomorrow or Monday would be my guess. I'm so anxious, but I figure I've waited this long, what's a few more days. :)

I thought that too. But i'm reallying hoping not and that they will send us an email sometime today or tomorrow. This is just torture

I'm feeling pressured because my boss keeps asking me if I'm leaving or not. It takes about 3 months for someone new to train, so this lab is going to be screwed.

That sucks. :( and youre only gonna be giving them only like a couple of weeks to find someone amd train them.

Has anyone tried calling? Haha

At this point if I was accepted and chose Chico I would be out close to $700 because of the financial commitments I have already had to follow through with at CSULB. I'm shocked how late they give out their notices. Hopefully tomorrow?

I really hope it's tomorrow.
