Hey all -

Who is all applying to the Chicago CRNA schools?

I'm applying to all three - Rush, Rosalind, and Northshore. Figured we could chat here for

support and updates through the process!

Anyone currently in the programs who would be willing to share your experiences and suggestions would be much appreciated as well.

I also am planning on applying to those three, but not until 2018 since i only have six months of icu experience at the moment and still need to take the GRE

Icurn315 - let me know if you have any questions throughout the process!! The GRE is stressful but get it done sooner than later.. you won't regret it! :) It's nice to have it outta the way.

Thanks! Planning on taking it in October. I saw that at Rush you can take some classes before you get admitted, did you look into that? I'm just worried that they won't be transferable to rfu if I don't get In

Yes! I actually am taking a class right now.. If you want more details about that, send me a PM.. I have had concerns about that too(not having credits transfer) but I am taking my first class now, so I will know before my second class if I am in the program. I started with Biostats and Epidemiology, since I figured it'll transfer and if not, it isn't a bad class to start with.. I know a lot of people who have taken 4(it's the max you can take as a student at large) and as long as you do well (A preferably) they have gotten in..

I'm also interested in applying but it seems I missed the NorthShore deadline. I know a coworker who already gt an interview for NorthShore.. Maybe I can still apply for Rush and Rosalind. MLB4 did you hear anything from NorthShore?

Yes! I found out the other day.. When is your coworkers interview? Maybe we are the same day.. You def still have time for Rosalind and Rush.. Did you take the GRE get? Sorry you missed the Northshore deadline..

I am interviewing end of June at Rush. I am not from the area so I didn't think to apply to any of the other programs.
