chemistry or microbiology first?

for those of you who have taken both- is there an advantage to taking one before the other? any suggestions about which one?

Chemistry helps with all of the science subjects. I found chem helped me with A&P and micro. Honestly, I can't imagine tackling my micro class without a chem foundation. But then, my micro class had pre-reqs of chem and biology.
