How do you deal with a teacher who has essentially checked out? Lord love her, she's planning on retiring soon and I think her heart just isn't in it anymore. I totally get that; once you've determined to leave a job, it is hard to give it your all. I get it. TBS, we still need the information. We still need to leave this class knowing more than we did on the first day. No one else is teaching this class in the program, so we can't go to another teacher and ask for help or clarification.
I know I'll pass, but I want to do more than pass. I want to understand and feel like I can engage with the teacher on the subject, and I can't do it, the latter, at least. Suck it up, huh?

What's the course? And is this a clinical instructor or lecturer?
