Chattanooga state RN hopefuls 2018

How is everyone feeling about applying to the 2018 day RN program since all four parts of the TEAS test count this year? I wonder what total score we would need to be considered competitive? Extremely nervous but hoping all will work out in our favor! I called and spoke with the nursing director about what total number applicants need to be competitive but she seemed unsure as seeing this is the first yr they are counting all 4 parts of the TEAS...she said they have been seeing TEAS scores in the mid to high 70s

I heard that as Well! Ready to get them, the wait is awful! How did you do on the TEAS and your total score if you don't mind me asking K117 ?

I made an 84 on my teas which I was super excited about considering I studied almost a month for it. And my total points are 87 and some change. I am still taking 4 of my prerequisites this semester so that is hurting my course points.

That is awesome! I bet you'll get in for sure! My TEAS test score really hurt my overall average but my nursing GPA is good so I hope it will workout in my favor! Good luck! Im sure it will workout for you!

Good luck to you as well! If anyone finds out anything make sure to post on here!! I was thinking about calling the nursing department today to see if they've made any more progress. The wait is killing me!!

I hate that we're the first year where the whole TEAS counts, it makes it seem so much more suspenseful for some reason! It'll probably work out in our favor, though. Two more weeks to wait :(

I think it's crappy honestly...why change it now?? It just stinks..I would've done well on it if it weren't for the science and English parts í ½í¸

I made an 86.7 on the TEAS and I got my acceptance email like 5 minutes ago!!!
