Chattanooga state RN hopefuls 2018

How is everyone feeling about applying to the 2018 day RN program since all four parts of the TEAS test count this year? I wonder what total score we would need to be considered competitive? Extremely nervous but hoping all will work out in our favor! I called and spoke with the nursing director about what total number applicants need to be competitive but she seemed unsure as seeing this is the first yr they are counting all 4 parts of the TEAS...she said they have been seeing TEAS scores in the mid to high 70s

Hey! I've applied to the day program too. I was also curious how the points would be this year since it's all 4 sections. I assume the overall points will be lower? I'm kind of nervous about it! Do you know when we will hear something? Last year it looked like mid April but who knows

hi!! i applied too! i was looking at previous years and i think they found out mid april to early may so hopefully sometime soon! the wait is killing me lol. i've also heard that they're lowering the teas score this year so i assume they would be lowering the overall score

If yall don't mind me asking, what were your overall points? Mine is 80 and change... I didn't do as well as I would have liked on the TEAS. If they had kept it only reading and math it would be a lot better cause those were my best scores! I know my score would've never got me in last year but I'm praying it has been lowered since they count all 4 sections now. I just wish they had a range they could give us and a date when we will know so I wouldn't have to stress!

my overall points is 89. i got an 85.3 on the teas but that thing was HARD AF. like i honestly don't know how i got that high bc i put off studying for forever. i really think they have to lower scores because that would just be unfair to keep it the same as last years

I'm sooo glad you guys have replied to my post, I've been waiting to hear from someone forever! My overall grade is a 75 because my TEAS test just killed my score...I did pretty bad in it. But I'm trying to be hopeful since I know the overall score will have to be lowered since they are counting all 4 parts of the TEAS but u don't know if they will take that low 🙁

I'm glad you made this forum! I was hoping somebody would start a 2018 one. I'm trying to be hopeful too.. I think we have a chance. Just want to know already tho!

I'm ready to find out too, the wait is killing me! I'm trying to be hopeful even with a overall score of 75...I'm hoping they really take into consideration my nursing GPA which is a 3.4 and not just look at the crappy TEAS test grade I got í ½í¸

With a gpa that good I would think you'd get in! Yeah like you said, I hope they consider everything and not just the TEAS. But it seems to me that everyone isn't get that great of score on it (70s) so I think they've got to look at everything as a whole.

Yeah, everyone I've spoken with on campus hasn't done well on the TEAS so I hope that makes an advantage

I also applied to the day program. Some people have told me that they are planning to send out emails the first week of April.
