Chattanooga state rn fall 2016 hopefuls?

I was just wondering if there is anyone else hoping to get in to Chattanooga State's RN Program for 2016? Looking for a group of members willing to share our experiences, concerns and progress while hopefully becoming the Nursing Cohort for fall 2016!

Yes, I saw it on her calendar. However, this was way back in January, so thing could have changed - especially if they're between program administators. Last year's email was sent by Tanika Riggs.

I knew last year that they found out on the 25th, but I'm not sure if we will this year or not. I guess it depends on when the application director quit and how quickly someone stepped in to fill her role either temporarily or permanently. I know I called around the last week of February and spoke with someone to verify they still had my application since I turned it in back in November. I do know that as of November MS was still the application director because I hand delivered it to her.

I emailed in the middle of February to make sure they had my application since I sent mine in November, too. MS had retired at that point. I'm not sure if there was a new person yet.

R618, what youtube video channels do you watch? I watched a few, but that was awhile ago. I was also thinking about getiing 'Dosage calculations made incredibly easy.' I saw that was a required ns119 book a couple years ago & thought that would be helpful.

I understand about the jinxing thing. I really wanted to get the fundamentals book, but ruled that out because of the whole jinxing thing. Plus they may change textbooks or something. But I figured since dosage calculation is just math, everything would still be applicable and it's a skill I'll need whether I get in this year or not.

Do y'all know if they send out emails to the people who get declined as well? Or is it only if you get accepted? So anxious to know!!!

They send both out. I think the acceptance emails go first, but I'm not positive.
