Wanted to see who all was applying for the upcoming cohort !

We needed a 70 to pass..... i passed lol thats all ill say. I think youll be fine!

How did everyone do on the Critical thinking test? What was everyone’s score on the TEAS? I got an 82.5 on CT and 74 on TEAS.

80 on both the TEAS and CT.

Just jumping in to ask a quick question. The only "tough" prereq I have left is Micro. It was recommended that I wait until Fall due to how tough the shortened (8week) version of the class is in summer (by an advisor). Have any of you taken it in the Summer, and would you recommend waiting?

Also wondering if any of you have had success with Portage and CTC. I don't need A&P per se, but I got B's in both and they're a little older. I was going to retake them through Portage as a refresher, and for my backup schools that want them taken more recently. The advisor recommended retaking it for CTC could also help with points if I get an A. I'm just not getting a clear answer on if they'll accept it. It's more of an "I don't think so" due to unfamiliarity.

I didn’t think Micro was that bad but I didn’t take it in the summer either. I had Dr. McDonald, was was amazing! For A&P I would recommend it as a refresher, I did that as well but not with that teacher. But I will tell you def don’t take it with Cumberbatch.. He is awful.. If you score higher than you did before they will accept the higher of the 2 grades. I was in the same boat since I already have a Bachelors degree.

For the Fall 2018 admission we got ours just after July 4th holiday. They sent an email, then letters arrived a few days later.

There were nearly 400 applicants to start with, but I don't know how many made it to the Critical Thinking exam. I want to say 150? Then not sure how many of those 150 scored a 70+ on the CT.

If you've made it this far, and if you hit the 70 benchmark on the CT exam, you're looking pretty good!

Most of us got an email on July 5th and the actual letter a few days later. Same for the cohort for us, the wait sucks lol

Yep! Should definitely be around the first week in July!! The wait is horrid, though. And for the young lady that still needs Micro-- it just depends on who you take. It was challenging for me because I took it with Stephanie Skipper (who is the absolute bomb.com!!) she is just a tough instructor, but you definitely will know your stuff. Its the A that I am the most proud of to say the least.
