Chattahoochee Tech 2013

Thought it would be a good time to start a new thread for all of us that are applying to Chattahoochee Tech for fall 2013! I would love to see what you received on the TEAS and your GPA. I plan on taking the TEAS V in August and currently have a 4.0 in my sciences and a 3.8 overall (I think). Does anyone know how many people usually apply and how many get accepted?

Does anyone know how we can find out what books we will need for fall before orientation? I know someone who completed this course 2 years ago and has offered to sell me her books. I just don't want to buy them if we won't be using them.

I set up an alert today on my Chatt email account that will send me a text whenever I receive a new email. I'm not going to waste a second! I'm a little obsessive... :)

I've been trying to figure out how to set up alerts. Can you tell me how?

Christysanchez75, you could try looking up nursing classes in bannerweb, and then doing a search for what book goes with each class on the CTC bookstore's website.

Has anyone else been accepted into the program? I only see 2 of us on here that accepted our seats. Really interested in getting to know the group! I wish orientation would hurry up. I'm anxious to see how much $$ this is going to cost and what my schedule is going to be for fall.

I emailed Kathleen Bombery about a waiting list and she finally emailed me back to tell me there is not going to be one. Even more disappointment. Guess I'm going to take the Teas again in January and the Sat and apply to Highlands.

Yes, definitely apply to highlands! I'm sorry about the disappointment after so much hard work, but I bet you'll be in before you know it. In fact, doesn't highlands have a nursing program that also starts in January? I can't remember. Anyway, best of luck LaurenRW88
