Who has applied to CTC for Fall 2015 ASN?

I noticed last year's group on allnurses, and I thought I'd start us off with a thread for Fall 2015 hopefuls.

RE: TEAS TEST

It is like a high school evaluation test. Not hard, but some of the items I hadn't seen for many years. There is an ATI study guide book. I've also heard others speak of online practice tests.

I've applied as well! I went to the first application session in February!

And the TEAS was no sweat! I got a 92!

Im just wondering when we will hear something!!

92?! Wow.....congrats!

Do you mind sharing how you study for the test?

I would like to know as well:-)

92 is awesome for the TEAS. Plan on at least getting an 80 if you want to be competitive. And imo, Science was the hardest part. Definitely buy the ATI study guide since it is ATI who administers the test. Also, if you get into the program, get used to ATI... you will be using it A LOT!!

You should be getting emails in May if youve been selected for the panel interview. For our class, they interviewed 70 people for 35 seats.

Good luck!!

I'm so nervous

Good luck, future nurses! CTC offers a great program. :nurse:

I took the TEAS on yesterday. How about the rest of you? Has anyone else taken it recently?

phrozen, I took it before the end of the year last year.

Did you do well? If you don't mind me asking

I was going to apply to their nursing program until I found out they do not have the accreditation's. The school does but not the nursing program. If you want to further your education and get a bachelors you will have a hard time finding a school that will accept credits form a non-accredited program. You will be suck with an associates degree and can only work In Ga.

ASN Program Accreditation Status: Chattahoochee Technical College's Associate of Science in Nursing is not accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
