Hello All

I plan on applying the Charles Drew's Entry Level MSN program. I am currently at SFSU in a post bac pre nursing program. I will be finish with the program and my pre req's in May. Has anyone else already applied or preparing to apply? Also, any individuals currently in the program that would't mind sharing a couple of things about the school. EX: typical day, clinical sites, and what CDU typically looks for when selecting nursing students?

I applied for Fall 2013,ELM at CDU, and I did go there just to see the school, I liked everything I saw and the info I got from my representative. My only problem now is that I'm still waiting I haven't received any acceptance/denial email, I was told that the email will me sent on July 16, 2013 and the program starts August 2013. Now when I call don't get no one answers the phone I have emailed my representative and she told me someone else is sending acceptance or denial emails. I was given email address for the one who send emails and I emailed no reply yet. So worried just want to know if anyone is waiting for the reply for fall 2013 ELM program. Please Help!!

When did they send you the acceptance email for Fall 2013, I'm still waiting haven't heard or received any email. Do they send email or they mail letters of acceptance.

They email them. Honestly, your best bet is to drive down there again to get a response. They are horrendous when it comes to communication.

Thank you, I will have to drive there, I went there on 7/12/13 and I was told that the good thing is your file went for review, and there were going to email the response to applicants starting Monday 7/15/13 so up to now nothing that is the reason why I wanted to hear from other students as the program starts in August 2013.

I also got into the program and received my admission decision via email on July 12th. I've accepted an admission offer from another school but my I would guess that they're slowly getting around to notifying everyone. Hang in there and best of luck!

Thank you mcarroll789. I'll be attending UCLA this coming Fall. In the email CDU sent me, they say that orientation is August 14-16 and classes start August 26. Upon receiving the email, you have two weeks to mail your intent to register form, so it might take a little while to hear back from them. I have my fingers crossed for you :)

Thank you all for responding. I drove to CDU LA yesterday 7/24 to check on my response and I was told my file is still with the being reviewed it's now scarry not sure what is going to happen to me I'm so ready to start this program. Any other schools still enrolling for fall 2013 ELM please advise so I can rush my application.

Good luck to you too, as for me I don't know haven't received any response from CDU was told they still sending responses when I went there last week.

I've also applied for the upcoming semester cohort, but haven't heard anything yet. Have anyone heard anything?
