Nursing Students School Programs

Hi all! I am applying to CSN in Aug. for the Spring 2018 class. I just wanted to start a post to help answer questions and compare profile scores:) Does anyone know what the last application cut off was?

Hi everyone, I also applied for the Spring 2018 semester and I am super nervous. I think my profile score is only like 65, but looking at other people scores that seems really low. I've taken all of the courses in the CSN, I just need the nursing courses. I really hope I get in. Does anyone know will we know by mail or by email?

They send them out by mail and email! Last application time a friend received hers first by email, then got the letter a few days later.

I was told by an advisor a 65 is a 50/50 shot bc the cutoff score is usually a 65 or 70. I retook the HESI and was able to get a 70.

i waited until the last minute to take the HESI sadly so i only made an 81, if i don't get in i'll just retake it and hopefully get a 90 to boost my score.

An 81 is really good! I took it 3 times, got an 83 the first & 2nd time lol and an 89 the third.

Cant wait until the letters come in!

the suspense is killing me!! Has anyone had to provide a transfer student evaluation form from a previously attended nursing school? JW if anyone knows how much that can affect an applicant?

Omg yes!!!! I literally think I'm going to die from this suspense the closer we get!!!! Unfortunately I do not have information on that.... I'm sure if you have all the right courses you shouldn't be affected

Yes, I had to provide one . I transferred from Dillard University. As long as the dean on your previous nursing school said you were eligible to return then you should be fine. They only really care about your profile score , that's the only thing that determines if you'll get in or not.

If you all don't mind me asking... what was you all profile score???? I believe I turned mines in with a 70.... just curious if mines is descent or not!

Mines was only a 65, but from what I've been reading a 70 is pretty good so you should be fine. I just hope the cutoff is at least a 65 this semester also.

Hopefully next week is the week!! Good luck everyone!

Did anyone receive their acceptance letter yet? I hear you get it early through email.

No :/ I'm just setting my mind on were not going to get them till at least next week! I'm getting so anxious thinking about it ALL the time!
