Charity School of Nursing Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi, all... So I am applying in January 2018 for the fall 18` semester. I wanted to start a thread to not only have a place where can all ask questions and share info but to hopefully make some friends to start the program with. I know several girls and guys who have completed the program and having a good relationship with your peers is a must.

Thanks, I really hope 60 gets me in this semester. & I am very ready to turn in my app. I have everything printed and together just waiting for them to start accepting applications. I think I am going on the 17th.

Did it take you long to get everything for your application together? I haven't started mine yet... I'm gonna start on it tonight. I'm getting so excited! Praying I get in! Have any of you applied to LSU? I can't this semester, but if I don't get into Charity this first try then I'm going to reapply in August and also apply to LSU cuz after this semester I'll have all the pre-reqs done.

Right, I figured I'll go early just in case I don't have everything. I'll have enough time to turn it in.

Are you getting your transcripts sent directly to Charity or are you turning them in with your application?

Not long maybe a few hours and that includes me getting distracted lol. I plan on doing the same! If I do not get into charity this time then I will take Chemistry during the summer and reapply to charity but also apply to LSU. I will have all my prereqs complete for Charity this semester. I am both nervous and excited!! I really really want to start this fall since my prereqs will be complete.

I have taken all my classes at Delgado so I do not need to bring a transcript. I would try to bring it to them myself with my application. Only because things get lost and miscommunacted with Delgado admin all the time.

Ok, perfect I will do the same. I don't see why you wouldn't get in. You have all of your classes! Wow! I still have A&p 2 to take this semester. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I have all pre-reqs done for Charity and LSU except Chemistry (cuz I stupidly took the non-science major chem class before), and 2 humanities courses so that's what I'm taking this semester. I have to get my transcripts from UNO, do y'all know if we're allowed to bring them in ourselves or do we have to get the school to send them?

I`m taking AP2 and my fine arts this semester and that will complete all my prereqs. Does anyone know what the cut off score was for the last application period?

you can bring them and like I said its better if you bring them with your application so they do not get lost in a paper shuffle

It looks like they last cut off score was 65/70

UGH... I was told out of 400 something applicatants they only accepted something around 170 something. Hoping less people apply for fall.
