Charity School of Nursing Application for SP 2016

Published

Hey Everyone,

I'm sure that I'm making this post more for myself than anyone else but I'm just so excited and anxious! It's only a few days until the application period starts! I don't know about y'all but my application has been done since May. Lol. With 80 points on my profile score I'm feeling pretty confident but I just can't wait until October/November. I've even started looking at stethoscopes and shoes. I hope you are all as excited as I am and please feel free to express your joy, frustration, nervousness, ect. here with me and everyone else. Good luck with your applications and I wish acceptance for you all.

I saw you on another board when I was digging to find out when acceptance letters went out last year. Congrats!

Ahh I wish I had an abundance of free time. Between my 4 year old starting prek this year, applying to charity, working full time, and still taking 6 credit hours of class this semester I won't have time for much. Idk how I'll survive the anticipation until acceptance letters come in.

I feel you even though it doesn't seem like it. Lol. I have an almost 2 year old, am taking 10 hours this semester, and will be working. Thankfully I'm working on campus so it's not too bad, yet. í ½í¸…

Hopefully our busy lives will be enough to keep us somewhat calm until we get letters!! What are you taking this semester?

Pathophysiology, medical terminology, american sign language, and nursing school success. What about you?

Abnormal psych and intro to pharmacology

I was gonna take intro pharm but a friend of mine at charity took it and said it wasn't very helpful. So I decided to start knocking out my bsn prerequisites instead.

Yea I was going to do that also. I wanted to take statistics but the courses they offered didn't fit into my schedule and I'm too scared to take it online. I'm only taking the classes I'm taking now to stay in school and routine. I didn't want to take a semester off and get out of school routines right before nursing school. I already have 2 med terms. And a lot of humanities courses I took at UNO. I thought about taking the nursing school success but it's too late to add it now. I'm on an academic plan as of this semester

That's great! Stick to it. When are you going to drop off your app?

Specializes in Dialysis.

I take the Hesi tomorrow- does it have a critical thinking section? The email they sent me says that it does

Yes it does but it doesn't really count.

Idk what they use that section for but I heard if you don't score high enough you have to redo that section eventually. I'm going around 1 today to drop my app off. Ahhhhhh! Just can't contain my excitement!
