Congratulations! You must be so excited!I got all my vaccinations at the public health clinic (Slidell) for $10.00 a visit. (Except for Meningitis, they only give under 18y/o). I'd try a Instant care facility for the physical and blood work.
Best of Luck!
does anyone know if the physical can be taken at any time or does it have to be within a certain range of our start date? I know they said we should get the tuberculin skin test in the beginning of january.
Thanks for the replies! I will try the Jeff Parish one first (I live in Metairie) and if not, I'll take the drive out to Slidell, it's not that far!
One part of the Packet says that everything must be completed within 6 months of enrollment, but another part says everything must be complete by Novemer 15, 2007. Hmmmm....
Hey All,
I received my acceptance letter also at the end of May, I think I am still in shock, and can't believe its finally a reality. I will be starting "the day division" Jan 08 and would love to hear from some other fellow classmates. I have also started my immunizations, I had to retake all of them, thankfully my current health insurance covers them. I am so anxious to get started I can hardly wait, I am counting down the days!!!!

I just got my acceptance letter today for Jan '08 class. I can't wait. Has anybody else gotten their letter yet? I was wondering where is the best place to get all the medical tests done (i.e. Hep B, MMR, etc) that they require. I really don't have a primary care physician or anything like that. Any advice would be appreciated. Look forward to seeing some of y'all in January!
