Changing Nursing Prorgams

U.S.A. Georgia

Hello! I need some serious help! I'm currently in a nursing program but I didn't make a 100 on my pharm test so I'll have to retake it in the fall and pretty much start over with the exception of fundamentals. I don't get to experience a lot of things I've heard other programs get to, should I try and go to another school? If so what are some good North Ga ASN or BSN programs!

If you go to another program, you're going to have to start over anyway because there is a very low chance of nursing credits transferring. While the state BON sets what must be covered in a program, each school can cover that information distributed into classes as they choose. Nursing 101 in one school may not be the same as nursing 101 at another school.

Beofre you try again at the same program, check to see if you failing a second time will lead to academic dismissal. this is what happened to me, and by being dismissed, i am considered not in good academic standing with them, and almost all other programs tell me i am not even eligible to apply to their programs, not matter how good i did on everything else before and during my program. I too didn't meet the passing requirement for my math exam. So look into this!

Best wishes!
