Hello everyone. I am a nursing student in Connecticut and we had a graduate of my class come and speak to us. When she was there we asked here questions about the state boards and if they were making any changes to it. I have heard that they are adding more fill in the blanks and diagrams to the test. Now I was really worried about this because I wasn't sure anymore how I was going to set my notes up (and I have tons of them now) to fit the test format. These supposed changes are scheduled for the first of April. I have gone to the national league of nursing website, the national council for licensure exams, and my own state board of nursing and the only articles I found for any revisions was for the NCLEX -RN. I haven't found anything else as far as the PN exam goes except for the state decided not to revise this exam. I am not sure if what I am hearing is factual or fictional. If anybody has any info about this and a legitimate site I can go to to further investigate I would greatly appreciate it. I need the info because I don't want to be preparing for something that isn't real. We also get a lot of true and false questions and all of the books I have concerning the NCLEX have no true and false. I didn't even see anything for true in false in the planned revisions to the NCLEX-RN.
