Changes in IELTS Test Band Scoring

effective july 1, 2007, the four parts (listening, reading, writing and speaking) of the ielts will be reported in the same manner, that is, from 1 to 9 using full and half-bands. before, the writing and speaking tests are reported only in full bands such as 6 or 7. now, scores will increase or decrease by half band like 6.5 or 7.5
