Hi everyone,
I am looking for someone who is in block one right now at cgcc. I am currently in block 1 at scc and I am looking to change to a program closer to me for block two. I would really appreciate any insight people have about the program at cgcc(how are the teachers, do test question come straight from power point or do you have to read everything, how's are labs). Anything in General would be helpful. Also if anyone that is in block two right now would like to share where there clinical's are at I would really appreciate it.
Thanks you,

I just graduated from CGCC in May and I too had a great experience. Don't believe the rumors of what you hear from the news. Your school experience will be determined by the amount of work that you put into in order to graduate and then pass the NCLEX. All the Maricopa programs have an outlined requirement for what they teach. If you go in with the mentality of "this school sucks but it is the only one that was open.." then you yourself will perpetuate the perceived problem and reputation of the school. My highest test scores were in Block 2 with the 2 instructors that were named in the lawsuit. Block 2 is a tough semester. Just stay away from drama, don't create drama, and study your orifice off and you can graduate. CGCC's NCLEX pass rate is in the mid to high 90s.
