Hi everyone,
Just curious if anyone might have an insight on what kind of GRE score would be needed to have a really good chance of getting into Columbia for their ETP program? I'm taking the GRE this Saturday and getting a little (haha) nervous. Took one practice and had a 1290 on that, but that was about 3 weeks ago. Going to take another practice full length today and one on Friday, guessing that I'll be doing somewhere around 1300. When I asked at an orientation session, they said anywhere above 50th% but that's too general. I also have a 3.7 GPA for my BA and am rushing to get the rest of my science prereqs in, which I'm expecting to get As in.
Any advice???
Thanks..

Hey Cozzy,
They are looking for a score of 550 or better on the reading and the math.
The logic portion of the exam is not weighed as much in the admission process.
Good luck,

I can tell you that specific GRE scores are not something to worry about.
Just do your best.
I was offered admission to both the ETP and another accelerated NP program with what would generally be considered a low quantitative score. But I have taken both undergraduate and graduate level statistics and epidemiology courses.
Your academic ability is important, but another factor in the consideration of your application will be your experience or research into your field of interest. Volunteer, get involved, and remember to include your resume in your application.
