Chancellor CPNE lab

Published

Hi all-

has anyone taken the 5 day CPNE prep class through chancellor learning systems? Would you recommend it/did you pass? Why or why not? Thanks!!

I went to the Chancellors lab in March 2016, about 3 weeks before taking the CPNE. it was AWESOME. The class size is small, everyone gets a chance to practice, and the instructors know their stuff. Lots of opportunity for one on one coaching. The week ends with a full mock PCS. (Something other workshops charge extra for.).

I can honestly say that going to Indianapolis for the care plan lab was a big part of my being able to pass the CPNE on my first attempt.

Thank you for the reply!!! It sounds worth it to take the workshop.

RNBearColumbus,

Did u test on the 22nd edition if the CPNE?

I would love to know more about your experience at the Indiania workshop! I am looking to take one in the fall and I need lots if hands on practice. Where did u stay? Are they up to date on the 22 edition?

I am thinking of this workshop as well

I tested under the 21st edition, but I'm sure the folks at Chancellors are up to date with the 22nd. You will get a lot of hands on practice at Chancellors. That was one of the reasons that I went there.

They have an agreement for discounted rooms at a local hotel. (When I went it was the Drury Inn, just a couple of exits up the freeway from the classroom.).

Do you know if they have any kind of passing guarantee?

They do indeed. If you attend the Care Plan Lab, and don't pass the CPNE, you can attend the lab again at no cost.

Check their web site, or give them a call. I'm sure they will be more than happy to answer any questions.

Thank you so much!

this is great information - thank you RNBearColumbus!! I have been so nervous about the CPNE that I was looking at starting over at another institution just to avoid it. Now knowing there is a workshop that is a week long with a 92% pass rate - gives me a little hope (but I am still nervous). Thanks again!
