Nursing Students School Programs

Published

***Asking for a friend, she currently attends a different nursing program and is in very good academic standing. She just wants to be closer to home that's all***

Hi !! Is anyone thinking of or is definitely applying to the nursing program at Chamberlain University on NJ campus for the upcoming start date of August 31st ?

If you're currently in Chamberlain University NJ do you please mind sharing any honest advice or comments about the school? Do you like the school? Do you recommend it ? How are the classes, the professors and just student life? I've read some daunting reviews about the school on different sites and I was just hoping I can get different insights from different students as much as possible.

Please we would accept any help and information about the school. Thank you!

Hi, I believe the minimum was a 2.75. I got in with a 2.9 and a good HESI score

Wow that’s good was the HESI hard and how is the semester going.

So far it’s been going pretty good. Stressful at times but manageable! The HESI was not that hard in my opinion. If you have some general background knowledge in Chemistry and anatomy, you’ll do great!

Hey! Glad I saw someone post about this university, I’ve been having a hard time finding information. I have a few questions for everyone since I’m thinking of attending. How are classes? Is it possible to do online/on-site for nursing? I live an hour and a half from campus so going every day is a bit much, but if I only have to go once or twice I’d be OK with that. I also have my LPN and associates degree. Has anyone transferred credits and only needed to take just nursing courses? What’s everyone’s experience?

I started in August and its been good so far. We are still virtual so its different but once they lift that we will be required to go to campus. Usually you arent taking more than 2 classes at a time and you can fit those into 2 days, and then youll have to travel for clinicals once they start and those are located anywhere within 100 miles of the campus. so if you are located in south jersey you may end up with clincials in north jersey but they do allowing for switching between students so you just have to find someone to switch with. So far my classes have been alot of APA writing, and alot of self studying but very managable. I came in with all my prereqs done which helped alot. they transfer a good amount of things so you should be fine. if you have any specific questions feel free to email me [email protected]
