Chamberlain University NJ campus 2020!!

***Asking for a friend, she currently attends a different nursing program and is in very good academic standing. She just wants to be closer to home that's all***

Hi !! Is anyone thinking of or is definitely applying to the nursing program at Chamberlain University on NJ campus for the upcoming start date of August 31st ?

If you're currently in Chamberlain University NJ do you please mind sharing any honest advice or comments about the school? Do you like the school? Do you recommend it ? How are the classes, the professors and just student life? I've read some daunting reviews about the school on different sites and I was just hoping I can get different insights from different students as much as possible.

Please we would accept any help and information about the school. Thank you!

Hi! I currently attend Chamberlain University at the NJ campus! I've been there since January of this year and I love the school. They have so many resources for their students. I would definitely recommend the school to anyone interested in nursing. The classes are just as tough as any nursing school's classes but are doable with all the support you are given. The professors so far have been amazing and are always available. The student life is also pretty cool as we have a large area to study in and also the commons. Overall I would recommend it to anyone!

WOW! that's awesome!! Thank you for your response!! Is this a one building school or does it have like other offices ?( Going based off what I see on Google) Also you say it has some nice resources, so does this include like a tutoring room/sessions?

You’re welcome! It’s one building but the building is HUGEE. There are definitely study rooms and availability to do study sessions

OK awesome! Sorry for all these questions but I promise to try and make these two my last ones LOL.

1) Were you a new incoming student or were you a transfer student when you started in January? I'm asking because the person interested in this school will be a transfer and she would like an idea to see what classes transfer in and what year she would possibly be placed in.

2) I understand that you have to pass the HESI entry exam to be considered and I would like to ask for any advice on how you studied for the exam? Any recommendations? Any will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I just got accepted to the NJ campus and if you’re enrolling for fall 2020 you do not need to take the HESI at this point because it has to be done on campus so they told me I’ll take it at a later date. I’m transferring in, not from a nursing program, from a community college and I have a meeting with admissions tomorrow to verify what credits they’re accepting

No worries LOL. I was a transfer student and they accepted just about all of my credits.

For the HESI, I studied from Quizlet honestly LOL. It was free and I only had two days to study and I did well, an 86%. Of course that with background knowledge of some things as well.

Hi, I believe the minimum was a 2.75. I got in with a 2.9 and a good HESI score
