How important is it to have them? I'm taking NR361 next semester A - none needed and NR443 (Community) semester B - "requires" a textbook ($89). Anyone have any input?
thanks in advance

If you don't want to buy the text, consider renting it from a textbook rental company, such as Chegg. I got an edition old text one time for $11.99.
Thanks, that's a great idea. I don't care about paying for them, but would really like to avoid paying for books that I don't use. I'll check that out.

I bought the required books for my courses, but never from the college! Bought them on eBay or Amazon for much less. If that's the community health nursing book you're talking about, I'd recommend getting it -- we did a lot of reading from it, as I recall, and it was actually well written and interesting. I didn't have a ton of knowledge about many areas of community health nursing, and was (as always) pleased to discover what a fabulously diverse profession we all share. :)
Yes, it's Community Health and thanks.. I'll pick it up.

Hello! Anyone doing Chamberlain's RN to Bsn? Is there a powerpoint presentation required? Also looking into Indiana Wesleyan's Rn to BSN....Any comments on either of these programs is greatly appreciated!
A couple of the classes require a PowerPoint presentation, yep!
