I am a recent high school graduate looking to go into a BSN program in St. Louis. I just recently recieved a phone call from Maryville saying I was next on their waiting llist for an open spot in their nursing program. However, I have already taken my A2 exam for Chamberlain and am just waiting for my acceptance letter. I really honestly don't know what I should do. What program is better? What makes me want to go to Chamberlain is the fact that I'll be out in 3 years as opposed to 4 if I went to Maryville. I am a very bright student and recieved a 28 on my ACT, 92% on my A2 exam, and graduated high school with magna cum laude. I eventually wish to be a Labor and Delivery or Pediatric nurse.

I remember going through this same thing and it was a hard decision. I am actually in Maryville’s Nursing program. I liked the idea of an accelerated program but I really also wanted the more traditional college experience. I know both programs are good, but I like being in the direct entry program AND living on campus and being involved in clubs and organizations. I am very happy with my decision on attending Maryville's nursing program. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I will be a junior this coming semester!
Thank you for your help. I decided to take the open spot at Maryville. I'm really excited to start!
