Chamberlain, Sacramento Campus?

Published

Hi, I've been working on transferable units to the Chamberlain school in Sacramento. I was wondering for those who have been admitted, what was you're admitting GPA and HESI score? Thank you!

GOOD LUCK!

I would like to know also. They told me they recommend scores in the 80s or 90s for the hesi and at least a 3.0 for GPA. I am taking my hesi the second week of April.

Ugh, I feel so discouraged about the number of spots. I have literally the minimum GPA for an existing BS, but I'm taking classes at my local community college which will be a 3.7 GPA. I applied for this semester and the adviser lady I had was not very encouraging about me applying. So now I'm all sad :(

I had a 3.6 gpa I believe and a 94 on the HESI. When I applied they told me the average accepted student had a score of 90 on the HESI. They look at your most recent gpa stronger than your past grades, so just make sure to try to explain the previous bad grades in your passion statement. Sac is definitely one of the more competitive chamberlain campuses to get into, but don't be discouraged! Just do well on your hesi and you'll definitely have a shot. Good luck!!

Hi Regina,

Did you have any experience in the medical field when you apply?

I'm looking to apply in the near future (still working on some prereq courses), but I don't have any experience and am worried I won't get into nursing school.

I'm a medical assistant but they do not look at past healthcare experience when you apply. Its really all about your gpa, hesi, and passion statement. Good luck!!
