Hello fellow nurses!
I am an LPN that recently got accepted to a BSN program for Chamberlain Chicago and Olivet University's accelerated bsn program. It would take me 2yrs and 4 months to complete the BSN at Chamberlain and 16 months at Olivet. I know the 16 months sound very nice but I am also a bit hesitant because all classes are online with the exception of labs and clinical. I am afraid of not having an actual sit down classes with an experienced instructor. Chamberlain, on the other hand, I know has a very good reputation here in the Chicago area and I know of nurses that have graduated that loved it. Anyone with any experience in both of these school? Or with anyone who has taken nursing courses online? Any advice would be great!
Thank you!!!

If you are a future student in their FNP program, please read my comments. I dislike to write bad reviews on an institution's all nurses website especially since I was an instructor there, but I could not stop myself after seeing what I saw while working at this University. I was an MSN professor and clinical staff here in the past. I have seen so many staff members openly discriminate against minorities who voice any concern about the program. Certain staff at ONU Nursing go after students without any reason. One student cried to me after few of his Professor created problems for him. As an instructor, I would not recommend this University to anyone. I have effectively resigned. Several of the staff in the department were also planning to do so back in January 2017.
