I wanted to start this forum to see if there was anyone out there that has been accepted to Chamberlain for spring 2012, or is applying? And just to get familiar with people already attending.

I just graduated from Chamberlain college of nursing with my BSN. Good luck with all your studies! I'm sure you will be just fine.

Is Chamberlain even an accredited school yet? On their commercials it always says they are still awaiting accreditation from the BON. Be careful!
yes ma'am they are I made sure I did research. They received their initial accreditation, but just like any new school they have to wait for their first graduation class to continue accreditation.
Which campus did you attend?
I did the online RN-BSN. The curriculum was pretty basic. They have their semesters divided into two 8 week semesters instead of one 16 week long semester. I was able to finish the program less than a year and a half.
Oh ok,.what city are you located in? And did u like it?

Moved to TX Nursing Programs Discussion forum.
From Long Island, NY. It was okay. I was satisfied with it. I would have liked to learned more about pharmacology and pathophysiology, but most RN-BSN programs I looked at did not offer those type of classes.

Hello, I'm considering attending Chamberlain. I have a meeting with **** the admission advisor next week. I want to know if they will take most of my classes from my 2yr degree geared toward a BSN. My concern is the class schedule. I would like to keep my current job working nights. I wonder how organized the program is. So many questions and no one to talk to.
****is my advisor, she is awesome! Are you sure you want to work while doing a BSN? That would be pretty stressful. I am sure they will take most of your classes, as they did mine. Chamberlain is just like any other nursing school so the classes would be during the day. The program seems very organized and I really love the advisors and every time I call they are always helpful. I would also ask any question you have on their facebook page.

I know I left this post another thread.. but here it goes again:
I am also thinking about attending this school and wondered what any current students thought about the program so far... I have done all my research as far as accredidation and BON approval but would like to hear what students had to say about the school...
Any comments would be appreciated!!!
