Hello
I just spoke with a recruiter from Chamberlain College of Nursing about their Nurse Educator MSN online program. Has anyone had any experience or known anyone who has with this program? Any info, good or bad is appreciated! I did my BSN online and love it! I'm really considering this program. I would like to hear from someone that knows anything about it!
Thanks so much! :)
I graduated from Chamberlain's MSN-Educator program. My only complaint is the discussion board requirement. I know that it ensures class participation but I often felt they were a waste of my time. I'd rather spend that time in research, writing papers, or doing my practicum hours with a preceptor. I couldn't even enjoy a cruise because of those stupid discussion boards (truth be told, I would have done WGU's program had I known about it). I paid around $24,000 (with my employer discount) and it took me 2 years at Chamberlain. A colleague where I taught at the time did her's through WGU and it took her a little over a year and she spent around $8,000. Be wary of for-profit schools (Chamberlain is owned by DeVry). They tend to be more pricey (but in all honesty, my instructors were great).

Thanks for the info. As for practicum was it hard to find preceptors? I'm sure each track will be different in that area though.
HI!
This is my last week in the Educator Track. How do you write credentials? I am in a debate at work. Thanks!

I know this a old thread but I'm inquiring about the program. I want to start in January. How is the program?
