I'm anxious to know how many fellow members on here are applying to Chamberlain College of Nursing's May start.
Which program did you apply to??
Which campus did you apply to??
Are you transferring in credits??
What were your scores??
Have you been accepted yet??
I applied to their 3-yr BSN program in Pearland, TX. I'm not transferring in any credits, so I'm relying heavily on my HESI score of 85 and my HS GPA of 3.7. I'm currently in the waiting process. :)
I also have no transfer credits because I have less than 24 college credit hours and I am relying heavily on my high school gpa and the hesi exam so whats the process like? and did you go to a college or straight out of high school? I'm just wondering because I'm a college student, also what should I expect from them? :) Thanks!
Even though you have less than 24 college credits, you should be able to transfer the classes you already taken... I would look into that. The less credits you need towards your degree, no matter how few they are, helps you and your pocket book...
It only took me a week to find out my academic eligibility once I turned in my completed application. I didn't go straight out of high school, although I wish I had. I will say if you are needing the full three-year program, you will utilize ALL of your financial aid. Do NOT do this. Apply for scholarships and grants. Look into the Nurse Corps Scholarship as well. I plan on applying for it next year, since I'll e starting my NR courses then.
Expect a friendly environment form everyone you come in contact with on the campus, as far as staff goes. They really mean what they say about the program being focused on student success. There are many resources available to you being a Chamberlain student. Good luck!!
Hi, I just recently applied to the Pearland campus. I passed my hesi but i'm just waiting on them to receive all my official transcripts. Do you know what happens after that. When they say you meet with the admissions committee.. do you know exactly what that means or how it works from here on out.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks a lot!
