I'm anxious to know how many fellow members on here are applying to Chamberlain College of Nursing's May start.
Which program did you apply to??
Which campus did you apply to??
Are you transferring in credits??
What were your scores??
Have you been accepted yet??
I applied to their 3-yr BSN program in Pearland, TX. I'm not transferring in any credits, so I'm relying heavily on my HESI score of 85 and my HS GPA of 3.7. I'm currently in the waiting process. :)

I applied, took the HESI, and transferred credits. Waiting on the decision now. :) I applied to the Columbus Ohio campus. You?
Hopefully they take a lot of my old credits.
Pearland, TX campus. I got accepted a week after I submitted my full application, b/c the committee down here meets weekly. :) Good luck ma!!
Thank You! I am doing a mid life career change lol. I have been in the IT field and working with databases for a while. I was a Navy Corpsman in my younger days and have always wanted to be an RN.
Congratulations!!!!!!

I go on Thursday for financial aid and money stuff. Then orientation on the 23rd. How did your finance meeting go? Im pretty nervous about it. Scared that I wont be able to afford it.
Definitely do NOT be nervous!! These are rough estimates, some hardbooks needed, you can rent for a short amount of time for cheap. Then there are some ebooks as well, depending on what you are taking.
I was super nervous about being able to afford it, but after viewing the financial aid I'll be receiving, I'll be able to afford it...
Once you view your plan, see if you can take the most credit hrs possible for the school yr during the times you receive both grants and loans. That will make a huge difference!! B/c I do not have any transfer credits, I'm doing only 1 NR course this school yr, BUT knocking out ALL Gen Ed classes, except for the few they pair with other NR classes.
Keep me updated!!
I have some transfer credits but some are too old. I don't get Pell grants but do get the Stafford loans, which has a maximum amount. That won't cover what I need. So hoping they can figure something out. I also heard there was a loan through Chamberlain for those that need it. Have you heard about it?
