HI I am thinking about enrolling in chamberlains BSN program at the Houston TX location. Does anyone have any helpful information on whether its a good move or not? any current students or graduates care to share their experience?

Welcome to Allnurses.com!
The new grad RN employment market in Houston has become hyper competitive over the past five years. With all the reputable nursing programs in the area (UT Houston, TWU Houston, Houston Baptist U, Prairie View, Lamar State, Lone Star, etc), some hiring managers are going to wonder why you opted to enroll in an investor-owned school.

Search other threads for info. I graduate in December. We will be their largest graduating class. Appx 40 of us. And a very good percentage of us have job offers at hospitals in the medcenter. No idea what the above poster is talking about.

Again, congratulations and welcome to the nursing profession! :)
Thanks!!
We all have a right to wonder. They'll prob get more answers if they asked though
great thing is I've noticed most new grad interviews are set up through HR. Up to the candidate to sell themselves as soon as they walk through that door.

I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to and was wondering if one of you that have gotten acceptance into the program may be able to answer.
I know they take a cumulative GPA of all the schools you received credit from. But my question is will they only take a cumulative GPA of the courses that Chamberlain was able to accept?
