Chamberlain Fall 2013 (Addison campus) PLEASE HELP!!

Heyyyy everyone!! I am a sophomore at ISU currently, and I am planning on transferring for the fall semester of 2013. I recently applied to Chamberlain's Addison campus and they called me to set up an interview and a date for the HESI exam. I'm meeting with him and taking the exam on May 17th and I have no idea what to expect from this interview! Is there anything I need to bring or prepare? Do I get my drug screen and background check then, or when? How long does it take to find out acceptance after taking the HESI? ......so many questions to ask! But here are a few to start! Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this :)

Hi! im taking it may 17 as well! what time are you taking it? dont be too worried for this interview, they just ask you as to why you want to be a nurse..well at least that is what they asked me when i went! they explain the program to you, tour of the campus and explain the financial situation..how much it is and financial aid!

Do you know what major parts there are to worry about? I cannot remember what I need to get on what sections! Urghhhh lol thanks so much for the advice though!!

The Hesi for Chamberlain is math, biology, chemistry, reading comprehension, vocabulary. Get the book that they recommend and see what areas you may be deficient on then supplement with external sites like you tube, quizlet, etc. I go to the Chicago campus.

hi! can you please tell me if the book helps for the science portion of the test?! im freaking out studying because im worst at the science!:/

yes although you may have to supplement it if this is an area of trouble. Google west coast study guide (I think). It was a great help

It seems like too many people is applying for Addison location It's making me scared. I'm waiting on my acceptance I'm so scared:down:

They look at the Hesi and also GPA. If you are worried, you can retake the HESI

They do not look at the science portion at all! Dont even bother studying that part....they take your math score and your English score and average them together for the score they use for admissions! I took it twice and got a 90 the first time and a 90.67 the second since they don't round up....but I'm freaking out cuz I only have a 3.05 GPA.....mehh :/

Did your advisor tell you when will you might hear anything? My Addison advisor told me about four weeks.

My advisor said that they will know by July 15th but probably not too much earlier than that...I cannot wait til July 15th!!! I'm going crazy already haha
