Have to take the Hesi to get accepted. Willing to quit my good paying job to pursue nursing. I have good credit score but already 40k from a previous bachelors I am about to complete. How do you pay for Chamberlain tuition. Did you get private loans to pay for rent? I have three kids and still need to provide a home.
Anyone?

I personally have had to pay some of my tuition out of pocket but most of my tuition my loans cover it. As far as rent I just started in January and had unexpected funds come through but that money has run out so I have to look for another job I just started working as a caregiver but the pay is only good enough for gas and maybe a few house hold items. So I'm still trying to figure my finances out. You can try to apply for scholarships

If you already have so much debt, are you really in a position to assume more? Your student loan debt at the end if you attend Chamberlain will take up a large amount of your salary to repay for many years. I suggest running numbers through a student loan repayment calculator and asking yourself if you can afford to double your loan debt (if not triple, depending on how many nursing pre-reqs you have already). If you truly want to go into nursing, a community college program with a later bridge to BSN would be a lot less expensive! Good luck!

I graduated from Chamberlain back in February. It's not a cheap school as it is for profit, so keep that in mind. After all is said and done, I'm up 60K in debt and will be paying that off for-ev-er. If you are looking at Chamberlain, I wouldn't just quit your job, but at least try to work part time. There would have been no way for me to make it through school without some source of income and I'm single without any kids.
