Hello nurses ~
I just got off the phone with my adviser at Chamberlain and I'm all set for the September session w/ NR 351 (Transitions in Professional Nursing). I was lucky enough to have the max amount of credits transferred (98/128) and only need to take the core 7 nursing classes + 2 electives.
Anyone else taking NR351 for september session?
Any advice/tips from peers that have already completed this course/graduated would be much appreciated!

Read the rubrics provided for each course for the discussions and the assignments. Post early if you can (Sundays for each new week) so that if "life happens" during the week, you will already have made the deadline for the initial response post (Wednesday at midnight, mountain time). So many students give up points because they don't follow directions that are in the rubrics. Good luck and I hope you enjoy the experience!

YES! I will starting in Sept too with NR351, debating about adding Political Science too.
Sweet! If you are considering taking another course please let your adviser know ASAP because if it's too late you may not be able to add the course. I added SOCS351 / cultural diversity yesterday. My adviser told me that it takes some processing time for it to get approved to add another course and you need verification from financial.
In the November session I'm hoping to take NR394 / transcultural nursing, NR305 / Health assessment and NR361 / informatics. But that's still pending because if you want to take three classes you have to get two A's in the September session so you can appeal to the dean that you can handle it.
