Hi everyone, I know there are many Chamberlain threads on here; I have spent the past two hours digging through them, and I have also been on the school website, but to no avail.
I need to know how scheduling for the clinicals works for the *online* ADN program if you DON'T live in Columbus. Do you drive to Columbus at the end of the semester for a few days, or do you have to drive to Columbus once a week? It seems like you must go to Columbus?
Also -- can you log into your online nursing classes anytime you want, or do you have to be sitting at your computer at a certain time? Some online classes I have taken have allowed me to take the class when I can, but I could not find any type of info about class times on the website.
I work full time during the day and I am a mom, so ... enquiring minds want to know!
I am actually really eager to find out. I like to know this type of thing before I call or email a school.

I don't know if this wil help or not b/c I finished their online ADN program a few years ago............then, clinicals were done with a preceptor at a facility of your choice as long as the facility would agree to sign the school's contract.
As far as online class times............each online class had a specific "chat time" that was somewhat mandatory for each student, most of them were in the evening hours , BUT I heard that they were talking about having some "chats" in the daytime b/c some students were requesting that.
I hope this information helps, don't hesitate to call the school and just ask them all the questions you can think of (I would write them down ahead of time).
GOOD LUCK!
Thanks for the info! I appreciate your response. I will give a call and see what they say.
