Chamberlain College Of Nursing BSN May 2017

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Hello Everyone,

I took my HESI today and my advisor told me it will take about a week to get an answer from the committee about whether or not I've been accepted into the BSN Program for May 2017. I passed the HESI with a overall score of 75% I attended both MDC GPA 3.2 and BC GPA 2.9.

I feel like this is going to be the longest week ever. I really want to attend Chamberlain College. I pray that i do get accepted. Has anyone been accepted yet ? any advice?

I appreciate for your quick reply! It's just when I see other people from different field switching for nursing make me think ... are there actually easy to find a job for them, there are bunch of nurses, but not RT's in the hospitals

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I Did get accepted and I started May 1st. Lol wishing you the best.

heyy, you should be fine.

Did you get accepted??

I still don't know, my advisor told me I will probably find out May 25th if I get accepted for the Fall semester.

Hi FutureRNTrisha,

If you don't mind me asking, what campus did you apply to? Also, what was your cGPA? I'm also taking the HESI next week. Any advice?

Hello, I know I'm late but I'm taking the HESI at Miramar Campus ending of Feb and I'm SOOOOOOOO NERVOUSSSS. I'm currently studying the Elesvior edition 3 and making my flash cards from that book and quizlet. I also have the Trivium book but I see that it's different so I just practice the questions from that book and also do practice questions online, I do them over and over because I heard the more questions you come across and understand what they asking you the better it is for you. Is it true?

I did all my prereqs BUT I received a C in Micro lecture so the adviser said I need a 72% on Biolgy and overall a 73% on HESI. Im FREAKING out, I study everyday each section at a time for like 2-3hrs I try not to over do it.

Hi Danniie786

Honestly, I studied maybe 2 or 3 days. I used the Elesvior book only and got an 87 overall. I didn't want to over do it. I think you'll be fine. Don't study too hard. The only advantage I would say I had was the fact that I had just finished A&P and I was a Chemistry major so I remembered alot. I hated biology in college and I can tell you I remembered nothing. The book helped me passed that section. Think I got an 82 or something around there. You'll be fine. Don't stress too much. My first session at Chamberlain NJ campus will be finished in two weeks. Great so far!

Hello,

Study the recommended review book cover to cover. The HESI isn't hard at all as long you study that HESI A2 book. I'm in my senior year at Chamberlain. It's a lot of work and sacrifice. Nothing about it is easy. Every thing that is taught will be used in one of your courses eventually. Just some friendly advice: Shake off negative people, keep your friends and family close, don't get caught up in clicks, find a good study group, thank your support system every day and let them know that this will all be worth it sooner than later. One more thing, you will find your best friends, life long friends during your time at Chamberlain. Good Luck!!!

How many days a week do you have to be in class? I have already taken the entire first year of courses.

Do you to the one in Miami(Miramar).
