Hiiii!!! Just took the Hesi! How was your experience? Scores? What score does it take to get in? Acceptance stories?

I’m applying for the Sacramento campus and I’ve heard they are competitive! Really nervous!

My advisor is Sahila. It just sucks because they said my HESI score wasn’t high enough even though they aren’t requiring it now.

My advisor is sahila too

OMG this waiting is killing me ?

I hope they call me tomorrow

@Nursejas.g I'm so sorry ?

Specializes in RN.

I know it is killing me too, hoping for tmrw. Good luck

They are calling people in order of last name

@Nursejas.g
how do you know that ? Did she tell you?
What’s your last name ? LOL

I have 3 last names

IDK which one are they using LOL

I have a different advisor, I’m not sure if they are using a different system

@Nursejas.g

did you ask your advisor why they took your HESI into consideration when making the decision if they waived the exam for now???
that doesn’t seem very fair

I was so sad. She said because the score is already on my file they still have to consider it. I don’t think it’s fair at all.

Hi guys ! I am applying for 202 Spring in sac. What is your guys GPA? I haven't taken the HESI! I have been told the average GPA of students admitted was 3.4

Anyone who didn't take HESI and has a GPA of 3.5 get admitted ?

I have 3.5 GPA but still waiting for the call

hopefully today

I just got a call and I didn't get in, but I did get good info! You can reapply to the next semester if there is a significant change in your file, so if you're able to take the HESI this time or retake it and get a better grade, or if you just finished a semester that will raise your GPA. Also if you have some old bad grades you can go for academic renewal and they will accept the academic renewal grades.

Do you know if for the Spring application, they will wait for your current grades to be posted before making the decision ?
