Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Hi, to those who apply! I am recently new to this whole chamberlain college thing. I went through the process for the Troy, MI campus and scored a 78% on my HESI final try & will obtain a 3.2 GPA by the end of this semester at my community college at Macomb. I am, as guessed, nervous about my acceptance here at chamberlain and would like some much appreciated input on what former or current students have about my grades and rate of acceptance they might think I have at chances of getting into the september 2017 program. I am sooo nervous and want to put my mind at ease knowing if anyone thinks I have a chance at getting in! Thank you to anywho who may have an answer for me.

I just took the Hesi exam as well this past Monday and scored overall 80% on the test. I am applying for the Irving, TX location. My administration personnel l said that the score should be good enough for me, if not, I can retest and resubmit my application for them to review. I don't have any GPA that would transfer since I have not been in school in 18 years. I am sure that you will get in.... Best of luck and keep me posted.

Hiya!

I took my Hesi exam Jan. 13th and got an 81 on it. My advisor told me that I needed to get an 80 in order to compete with other applicants. I was scared because I was suffering from a really bad concussion so focusing during the exam was rough for me. After I took my test she advised me to write a letter to the admissions committee stating why I might have failing grades or withdrew from classes on my transcripts. I want to say about a week later, my advisor called me stating that the admissions committee stated that I was eligible for the May 2017 class. I have my Bachelors in Homeland Security and Emergency Management with a GPA 3.765 and 55 credit hours transferring. Now all I have to wait for is to schedule a drug test and meet with a financial advisor about paying for school.

I think your scores and GPA are good enough to get the acceptance. I know the campus that I applied for stated that now who gets a spot are those who finish the process first. I think you're early enough to finish everything since you have a head start on others.

Good luck!
