Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

I feel for you guys taking chem! I took it at GSU and it sucks no matter where you take it. But learning all that info in 8 weeks is crazy. I hope it gets better for you.

Thanks dalencia...I just wish I was able to take it on campus where I could meet with my instructor. Anyway, we made it through our first week!!!! Good luck to everyone next week and let's keep pressing on!!!

I couldn't imagine taking it online! In class is crazy awful enough :) Does your prof have office hours? Maybe you can set an appt with them on campus... Or get a study group together! I know I"m gonna probably need one of those lol

Busy indeed...today marked the end of week 2 for me. So far so good, can't wait to get this session over with and on to the next. Ms_PsychD when are you starting?

Hello everyone, I am taking the HESI on Tuesday. I have been studying a lot and watching you tube videos, does anyone have any pointers as far as the math part? Were there a lot of fractions, ratios, and percentage problems.

I have chem omn tue and fri and my teacher is nice her name is dr lee but hasn't been an easy class at all

@Teah YES the math part is ALL fractions and percentages. Not too many ratios. And some basic conversions if I remember correctly. The fractions though, ugh! Practice tons of those - reducing, adding, etc. It was over the top on those lol!

To any of the students who are already taking classes, do you know if the Stethoscopes are included in tuition or with the uniforms? My mother in law is hell bent (lol) on getting me a nice Stethoscope as a gift and I told her I think that it may already be included but I'm not sure.....

Uniforms and stethoscopes are not included. I just got my Littman in the mail yesterday! Oh and tried on uniforms today lol. I know u are excited...get ready cause its gonna be one heck of a ride!
